Lead actress Liv Tyler will be leaving the American drama series 9-1-1: Lone Star just before the second season, which may be due to the coronavirus.
Liv Tyler (Harlots) will not be coming back for the second season of 9-1-1: Lone Star, the spin-off to 9-1-1. Tyler portrayed Michelle Blake. The actress will not be replaced for season two. This also means that we won't be seeing the character of Michelle Blake again. Showrunner Tim Minear (American Horror Story) revealed in a statement that "The door here will always be open for a return". Next to that, he also thanked the actress for the cooperation and the "haunting, powerful portrayal of Michelle Blake".
According to the American news website Deadline, the coronavirus was part of the reason why Tyler decided to leave. Supposedly, the actress couldn't travel between London and Los Angeles due to the countermeasures against the pandemic.
