ABC releases explosive teaser for drama series 9-1-1: Nashville

ABC has released a new teaser for the upcoming 9-1-1 spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville, starring Chris O'Donnell. ABC has released a dramatic new teaser for its upcoming spinoff 9-1-1: Nashville — fittingly accompanied by a cover of Johnny Cash’s iconic hit Ring of Fire. The teaser shows fiery tornadoes tearing through Music City, setting the tone for the first disaster Nashville’s emergency response team must face.



Like previous versions of the successful franchise, 9-1-1: Nashville is an action-packed drama series that focuses on the heroic efforts of first responders. The series combines thrilling rescue operations with a more personal, narrative undertone full of family drama, power and glamour, this time set in the heart of Tennessee.

Craig Erwich, president of Disney Television Group, called the creative team of 9-1-1 "masters of creating television spectacle" in an interview. He referenced previous big moments in the series, such as the "be-nado" from the previous season of 9-1-1. He promises Nashville will have another spectacular opening moment.

Although there are no concrete plans for crossovers with other 9-1-1 series, Erwich does not rule out the possibility, calling it "an incredible opportunity."
