Second season A Discovery of Witches to release in January

The second season of the British romantic fantasy series will release in January 2021. The season was ordered in 2018.

Back in 2018, a second and third season of A Discovery of Witches was ordered by Sky TV. The network has now revealed that there's a plan to release the season in 2021. A specific premiere date has not yet been revealed.

It will not take long before production starts on the third season. Supposedly, production is set to begin this month and the recording process is set to start near the end of the year.

The series is based on the All Souls trilogy by Deborah Harkness. The story revolves around Diana Bishop, historian and witch, who is tasked with solving special mysteries. She is helped by Matthew Clairmont, a vampire. Diana knows that witches aren't supposed to trust vampires.
