A Good Girl's Guide to Murder gives a sneak peek and introduces new cast members

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has announced a slew of new cast members for the second season of the hit Netflix and BBC drama series.
The first images of Emma Myers (known from Wednesday) have been revealed, in which she returns as Pip Fitz-Amobi, the main character based on the bestselling books by Holly Jackson.

Among the new cast are Misia Butler as Stanley Forbes and Eden H. Davies as Jamie Reynolds, Connor's brother (played by Jude Morgan-Collie). Jack Rowan also stars as Charlie Green, Pip's new neighbor who unwittingly becomes entangled in the mysterious events of Kilton.

After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip's life has changed dramatically—and not always for the better. As described, Pip is determined to rectify the consequences of her actions and stay out of further investigations.

But when the trial of Max Hastings approaches and Connor's brother Jamie suddenly disappears, Pip is once again drawn into a race against time to find him. The new mystery forces her to reexamine her sense of justice and stray further and further from the "good girl" she once was.

The first season of A Good Girl's Guide to Murder was a huge success in the summer of 2024, becoming one of the most-watched titles on BBC iPlayer among 16- to 24-year-olds. It was even the highest-grossing drama series on BBC Three since its relaunch.

The second season will air on the BBC and will be available exclusively on Netflix outside the UK and Ireland. In Germany, the series will be available exclusively on ZDFneo and in Australia on Stan.

It seems the next book in the series is being adapted into a film: "Good Girl, Bad Blood." The synopsis is interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed the first season, so I'm really looking forward to the new one.
