Malloy really likes the voice of the new dispatcher, but when he meets her in person is dismayed to find she is married to the SWAT lieutenant. Cases handled include a hit-and-run which seriously injured a young girl, a synagogue who had their Hebrew-based typewriter and money stolen, a drunk woman making a disturbance on the lawn, and a tip-off about some painters plotting a vendetta.
