The officers pull over a car on a traffic violation and find the driver is Reno West, a cat burglar Malloy sent to prison four years previously. Other cases include removal of an abandoned car, a robbery which turns to murder as the shopowner is killed, and a hostage situation involving a distraught man and his daughter.
