IMDb has renewed the British adventure series Alex Rider with a second season even before the first season has released on Amazon Prime Video. Earlier this year,
Alex Rider premiered at IMDb TV, Amazon's free streaming service for those who live in the US. Even before the Amazon Prime Video release, IMDb TV has already decided to renew the series with a second season. Yesterday - the 12th of November -, the series released on Amazon Prime Video in Italy. Today, the series will also become available on the streaming service in Canada, Latin America and The United States.
Alex Rider is based on the bestsellers by Anthony Horowitz. The second season will feature the story of the book Eagle Strike, the fourth book in the series. The second season will also become available on IMDb TV and will later release on Amazon Prime Video in Australia, Canada, Italy, Germany, Latin America, New-Zealand and the United Kingdom.
