©Deadline - Patrick Brown/FXLead actress Sydney Chandler indicated that she has not yet seen scripts for the new season. Nevertheless, preparations have clearly begun. Producer and director Dana Gonzales hinted at this earlier in an Instagram post, where he wrote that he was excited to start on season two and continue building on the world of the Alien franchise.
In the series, Chandler plays the character Wendy, the first human-alien hybrid and leader of the so-called 'Lost Boys,' a group of prototype hybrids created by the fictional Prodigy Corporation from terminally ill children. Before her transformation, Wendy was known as Marcy Hermit.
In the finale of the first season, Wendy seizes power on Neverland Island after leading a rebellion against her creators. A unique trait of Wendy is that she can communicate with the notorious xenomorphs from the Alien universe.
In addition to her work on the series, Chandler is being honored with the Rising Star Award at the Texas Film Awards and inducted into the Texas Hall of Fame. She also has a new film on the horizon: the science fiction comedy Anima by director Brian Tetsuro Ivie, which will premiere at South by Southwest.
Hawley has also made it clear that there will be no crossover between Alien: Earth and the new Predator films by director Dan Trachtenberg.
