American Crime Story is an American anthology series of the FX network. It first premiered in February 2016.
American Crime Story is based on true stories and is a project of Ryan Murphy. The third season will be known as Impeachment and is about the sex scandal with Bill Clinton, which dominted the news near the end of the 90s. The third season is likely to start on September 27, 2020 at FX and can then be seen on Netflix.
Billy Eichner
Billy Eichner, known from American Horror Story, will play the role of Matt Drudge, the journalist from Drudge Report who exposed Clinton. Clive Owen will play the role of US President Bill Clinton. An impeachment procedure was started against the president after he lied about his affair with intern Monica Lewinsky. In addition to Clive Owen, Sarah Paulson will portray Linda Tripp, the official who secretly recorded telephone calls from Lewinsky. Beanie Feldstein takes on the role of Lewinsky. It is not yet known who will play the role of Hilary Clinton.
Production on the third season will start in March 2020.
