Lindsay Mendez (All Rise) Joins American Sports Story Cast

Mendez, a Tony Award winner for Carousel, is currently back on Broadway as the lead actress in the critically acclaimed revival of Stephen Sondheim's Merrily We Roll Along opposite Daniel Radcliffe and Jonathan Groff. She was recently a regular face at the Warner Bros. series All Rise for CBS and then OWN.

Zicherman produces American Sports Story alongside Murphy, Nina Jacobson, Brad Simpson, Alexis Martin Woodall and Brad Falchuk. Hernan Lopez and Marshall Lewy of Wondery are producing along with Linda Pizutti Henry and Ira Napoliello of the Boston Globe.
