Kim Kardashian to appear in the twelfth season of American Horror Story

Reality star Kim Kardashian revealed on her Instagram on Monday that she will play a role in the twelfth season of American Horror Story this summer.
Kardashian stars alongside Emma Roberts in a season subtitled Delicate. The announcement was made in a creepy video on the fractured theme of the Rock a-Bye Baby lullaby. Roberts also posted the same video on her Instagram.

Reportedly, AHS creator Ryan Murphy was impressed with Kardashian's performance on Saturday Night Live in 2021 and started talking about her joining the AHS family last summer.

Kim Kardashian (pictured) has been a reality star for over fifteen years. She ended her reality series Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E! to relaunch the family series on Hulu last year with The Kardashians. Season three of the Hulu series kicks off Thursday, May 25.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the Kardashian season will be written and directed by Halley Feiffer. The latest season will be based on Danielle Valentine's thriller novel Delicate Condition, which will be released in August. This is a first for the anthology series. It reportedly follows a woman who becomes convinced that a sinister figure is doing everything he can to ensure that her pregnancy never happens. Delicate Condition is described as a feminist update of Rosemary's Baby.

Emma Roberts (pictured) joined the AHS ensemble in 2013 with the third season, titled Coven. She also starred in the Freak Show, Cult, Apocalypse, and 1984 seasons. It's been four years since we last saw her on the series.

Halley Feiffer previously co-wrote Dear Edward, Roar, Kidding, and Murphy's Impeachment: American Crime Story.
