Official Trailer for Andor Season Two Released by Disney+

Disney+ has released the official trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Andor.
The full trailer below features a ton of new footage from the Emmy-nominated Star Wars drama series. The upcoming season will wrap up the story and lead up to the events of the 2016 film Rogue One.

Andor

The official description of the new season: "Season two will see the characters and their relationships intensify as the horizon of war looms and Cassian becomes a key player in the Rebel Alliance. Everyone will be tested, and as the stakes rise, betrayals, sacrifices, and conflicting agendas will become more profound."

The trailer features the return of Ben Mendelsohn as his Rogue One character Orson Callan Krennic, and Rogue One fan favorite droid K-2SO, who is voiced by Alan Tudyk.

The final season will consist of twelve episodes, divided into four chapters of three episodes each. The first chapter will air on Tuesday, April 22, with subsequent chapters releasing weekly.

Creator Tony Gilroy says: “One of the great thrills of making Andor is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries. They are real people making epic decisions, all of them staring down questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in season two.”

Andor season two stars Gabriel Luna, Stellan Skarsgård, Genevieve O'Reilly, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Adria Arjona, Faye Marsay, Varada Sethu, Elizabeth Dulau, and Tudyk, along with Mendelsohn and Forest Whitaker.

Excited for this - the first season of Andor was much better than recent Disney+ Star Wars series and, hopefully, the second season will be able to maintain that level of quality.

Andor is a really refreshing twist on the Star Wars universe for me. Instead of the usual space battles and epic adventure, the show focuses much more on the human side of the rebellion. Cassian Andor’s story is gritty and realistic, making you feel the complexity of the rebellion against the Empire. I really like the way the show explores the bureaucratic aspect of the Empire and the impact of oppression. It’s a show that digs much deeper than you would expect from a Star Wars story, and that makes it really interesting to follow.
