Filming for season three, with Alexandra Daddario in the lead role, starts this week in Vancouver, Canada.

According to AMC, the new season will "delve deeper into the mythology of witchcraft, introduce new enchanted families, and bring to life some historical events around Salem, Massachusetts – the infamous city of the witch trials and folklore."

For Brandt, this marks a return to AMC, where she gained international fame with her role as Marie Schrader in the Emmy-winning series Breaking Bad. She later reprised this role in the final episode of the spin-off Better Call Saul.

On television, Brandt was also seen in the CBS comedy series Life in Pieces, opposite Michael J. Fox in The Michael J. Fox Show (NBC), and in AMC’s dystopian anthology series Soulmates.

Alongside Daddario and Brandt, the cast of Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches also includes Harry Hamlin, Tongayi Chirisa, and Alyssa Jirrels.

Anne Rice's Immortal Universe franchise at AMC also includes Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire — the third season of which, titled The Vampire Lestat, is currently in production — and Anne Rice's Talamasca: The Secret Order, which premiered last weekend.
