FX has announced that they will renew ‘Archer’ for a sixth and seventh season. The channel has a lot of confidence in the series: ‘Archer is one of the best comedies on television and has played an important role in the growth of comedy on FX. We are incredibly thankful for Adam Reed, Matt Thompson, their team, and our voice actors, and we are looking forward to supporting their work for two more years,’ said Eric Schrier for FX.
The series 'Archer' is now in its fifth season, named ‘Archer Vice’. Produced by FX themselves, it has had a stable amount of viewers from the outset and throughout. Moreover, the series is the second-best comedy on a standard cable channel, within the demographics category of 18-49.
