Attack on Titan - Season 2
Attack on Titan season two picks up right where season one left off. The 'Female Titan' is trapped in a mysterious crystal and a hole in the wall unleashes a lot of titans. We continue to follow Erin Yeager, Mikasa Ackermann and Armin Arlett as they battle the horror beyond the walls. Now that the mysterious Female Titan has been locked up, more should become clear, but the questions keep coming.
The story continues to focus on Eren Yaeger (Bryce Papenbrook, Sword Art Online series), his adoptive sister Mikasa Ackermann (Trina Nishimura, My Hero Academia), and their childhood friend Armin Arlelt (Josh Grelle, Psycho Pass). After the events of season one, they've made no further progress in retaking their home of Shiganshina, and the basement full of secrets remains closed, mainly because the Female Titan got in their way a bit. Fortunately, that problem was removed in season one by Eren and his squad and they can now fully focus on getting back at home. Unfortunately, easier said than done.
Despite these things, I still keep saying it: Attack on Titan is definitely one of my favorite series, even if it could be a little better on some points.

Due to the arrival of a new ape-like Titan, hundreds of Titans have been added to make life even more difficult. In season two you mainly see how the series takes small steps towards the grand finale that we are far from seeing, since we;ve got a couple more seasons left. This is how you find out secrets, you learn about cheating and you get interesting information that, if you read the manga, you already knew... In other words, season two is not doing as well for me as number one. Not only because there are only 12 episodes of 20 minutes, but also because of the kind of 'fillers' that are more common in anime. This does not alter the fact that the series is still doing very well. The elements they've taken seamlessly from the manga are perfect and the way they delivered some things I personally thought was really well done.hundreds of Titans who make life a little more difficult
As I said in the review of season one, if you've read the manga, watching season two is highly recommended. You know things that you are not supposed to know yet and this causes you to pay attention to other things. I must add now though, as a manga reader you would quickly get fed up with the posturing in some episodes. They could have easily put important moments in an episode instead of spreading it over two or maybe three episodes.as a manga reader you would quickly get over the posturing in some episodes
Despite these things, I still keep saying it: Attack on Titan is definitely one of my favorite series, even if it could be a little better on some points.
