John Malkovich will be joining the main cast in the second season of Bad Monkey.John Malkovich joins lead actor and executive producer Vince Vaughn in this comedy series by Bill Lawrence. The Apple TV+ series is based on the New York Times bestseller by Carl Hiaasen.

The second season will revolve around a new original story, while the first season narrated how Andrew Yancy (Vaughn), after being fired from the Miami police, ends up working as a health inspector in the Keys.
When he stumbles upon a case that begins with a severed arm fished out by tourists, he sees an opportunity to return if he can prove it's a murder. However, he must navigate a series of eccentric Floridians and a troublesome monkey.
Malkovich will portray Spencer, the head of a major criminal organization in South Florida. It is still unclear which other actors from the first season will return, besides Vaughn.
The first season featured roles for L. Scott Caldwell, Rob Delaney, Meredith Hagner, Natalie Martinez, Alex Moffat, Michelle Monaghan, Ronald Peet, Jodie Turner-Smith, with special guest John Ortiz, and guest appearances by Zach Braff, Ashley Nicole Black, Scott Glenn and Charlotte Lawrence.
Malkovich, a two-time Academy Award nominee, has an impressive career in theater, film, and television. He recently starred in the Netflix limited series Ripley, Apple TV+'s The New Look, and Showtime's Billions. He will soon appear in the Apple series Prodigies, starring Ayo Edebiri and Will Sharpe.
