‘Bad Teacher’ and 'Friends with Better Lives' pulled from schedule

CBS has decided that the comedies ‘Bad Teacher’ and ‘Friends with Better Lives’, that were cancelled earlier this month, will not have a complete season.

The former trophy wife Meredith Davis (Ari Graynor, 'Fringe') masquerades as a teacher to find a new husband. The rest of the cast includes Kristin Davis, David Alan Grier, Sara Gilbert, Ryan Hansen and Sara Rodier.

For now CBS has replaced ‘Bad Teacher’ with reruns of ‘The Millers’, that has been renewed for a second season.

Friends with Better Lives’ follows the lives of six friends that are in different stages of their live. Married or divorced, just encaged or single. And all are wondering if the other has a better live. Cast members are: Majandra Delfino, Kevin Connolly, Brooklyn Decker, Rick Donald, Zoe Lister-Jones and James Van Der Beek.

Friends with Better Lives’ will be replaced for reruns of ‘Mom’ that was renewed for a second season. ‘Friends with Better Lives’ was CBS best viewed series last Monday, even better that its lead-in ‘2 Broke Girls’ who did worse than 'Friends with Better Lives' anyway.

It seems like that CBS has decided that showing reruns of series that are renewed is better than new episodes of series that are cancelled.

If or when the remaining episodes will be aired is not (yet) clear.
