‘Banshee’ is doing very well. The Cinemax show, the cable network that is part of HBO, had 733.000 viewers for the first broadcast of the second season finally episode. This is a record for the network and an improvement of 142.000 viewers since the last record. The reruns made sure that the total of viewers was 968.000 and that is also a record for the network.
Cinemax announced in an earlier stage that ‘Banshee’ would be renewed for a third season, and that will bring grist to the mill of Cinemax, judging from these figures.
‘Banshee’ is a creation of Jonathan Tropper and David Schickler and the executive producers are Alan Ball, Peter Macdissi and Greg Yaitanes.
