Batman: Caped Crusader gets two seasons on Prime Video

Batman: Caped Crusader moves to Prime Video. The company takes over the series from HBO Max and immediately announces two seasons.Batman: Caped Crusader is an animated series by J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves and Bruce Timm. The series was initially announced on HBO Max in 2021. As part of the budget cuts, this series was one of six animation projects to be canceled by Warner Bros. Discovery were dropped.

Batman: Caped Crusader is a thrilling and cinematic reinvention of the Batman mythology. The series will return to the roots the character is originally based on. It is produced by Warner Bros. Animation, Bad Robot Productions and 6th & Idaho with Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, Matt Reeves, Sam Register and Ed Brubaker as executive producers.

Bruce Timm is the man behind the classic Batman: The Animated Series, which ran for over 100 episodes in the mid-1990s. Kevin Conroy, who died last year, will play the character Batman with his iconic voice. Other voice actors include Cristina Valenzuela as Catwoman, Erika Harlacher as Poison Ivy, SungWon Cho as The Riddler, and Frank Todaro as The Penguin.
