Black Narcissus was created by Amanda Coe (The Trial of Christine Keeler) and is based on the bestseller with the same name by Rumer Godden. The series will premiere on the 23rd of November and will release on Hulu the day after that. Black narcissus will consist of three episodes, which will all premiere on the same day. The series takes place in a remote palace on a cliff in Mopu, Himalayas in the year 1934. When the young nuns of St. Faith go there, the dark secrets and mysteries awaken forbidden desires that appear to be destined to repeat a horrible tragedy. Charlotte Bruus Christensen (A Quiet Place) has directed the series. Andrew MacDonald (Devs), Allon Reich (Devs) and Amanda Coe will serve as executive producer.
