Second season of Blue Lights will soon be available on BBC First

Season two of the crime series set in Belfast will soon be available on BBC First and viewers of NPO 3 can look forward to the first season.

In the second series, officers Grace (Sian Brooke), Annie (Katherine Devlin) and Tommy (Nathan Braniff) begin to feel the effects of their demanding jobs, especially when Belfast city center becomes overrun with drugs.

Meanwhile, Grace and Stevie (Martin McCann) try to work together as colleagues without embarking on a romantic relationship. Helen (Joanne Crawford from Line of Duty) is under immense pressure to improve crime statistics, but with limited resources it seems like a losing battle.

Other Blue Lights cast members include Jonathan Harden, Hannah McClean, Andrea Irvine, Andi Osho, Desmond Eastwood, Paddy Jenkins and Dearbháile McKinney.

The series comes from the screenwriters of The Salisbury Poisonings and is already certain of a third and fourth season.

The second season started on British television in April and it will soon be the turn of the Netherlands: from Friday, June 14, you will see a new episode every week on BBC First.

The first season of Blue Lights can be seen weekly on NPO 3 from Saturday 1 June.
