Starz Reveals Start Date, Photos and Teaser for BMF Season Four

The Flenory brothers struggle to expand their business in Mexico in the Starz series BMF.

Sources understand that a fifth season of the crime drama is still in the works, but no decision has been made about the future of the series. Sources close to the production say that Starz is "creatively pleased with season four" and "looks forward to sharing new action-packed episodes with fans." It is unclear whether the season four finale will be filmed as a series finale, should Starz decide against a fifth season for BMF.

BMF season four continues the journey inspired by real-life street legends and brothers, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory (Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory) and Terry “Southwest T” Flenory (Da’Vinchi), who created one of the most influential crime families in the country, the Black Mafia Family.

This season, as Meech and Terry fight to keep their American dream alive, stay ahead of their rivals and law enforcement takes a toll on their relationship. The brothers occasionally put their differences aside for their common goals, but what happened in Mexico will change them forever.

The first footage gives a hint of what lies ahead for the Flenory family and those closest to them. Viewers will see Meech and Terry traverse the continent as their business expands, from their roots in Atlanta and Detroit to the streets of St. Louis and the palm-lined boulevards of Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Markisha (La La Anthony) wants to be taken seriously as Terry’s business partner and will try to make her way in the game. Lucille (Michole Briana White) and Charles (Russell Hornsby) are both struggling with what comes after the divorce, financially and emotionally, while still co-parenting Nicole (Laila Pruitt), which presents a new challenge for the family to navigate. Meanwhile, Detective Bryant (Steve Harris) is still dealing with the loss of his son and is putting all of his energy into taking down BMF.

The series returns on Friday, June 6 with new episodes streaming weekly on Fridays on the Starz app, all Starz streaming and on-demand platforms.
