At the heart of the story is Will Forte as Gilbert, a charming American podcaster with Irish roots. With his warm personality and charm, he tries to win people's trust and thus unravel the truth behind Bodkin's mysteries. Siobhán Cullen stars as Dove, a determined investigative journalist with a keen eye for deception.
Leading roles are played by Forte, Cullen, Robyn Cara, David Wilmot and Chris Walley. Together they take up the challenge to unravel Bodkin's secrets.
The series premieres on Netflix on Thursday, May 9.
Consisting of seven episodes, Bodkin is created and executive produced by Jez Scharf, along with co-executive producer Alex Metcalf.
The series originates from the production company Higher Ground, founded by Barack and Michelle Obama, which previously also brought the Netflix films Leave the World Behind and Rustin to Netflix.
