‘Bones’ renewed and moves to other night

FOX officially announced that ‘Bones’ will be renewed for a tenth season. And they will move the series back to Monday night.

This is really big for FOX because ‘Bones’ is the only series they aired to reach its tenth season. This also means that ‘Bones’ will have an anniversary of 200 episodes somewhere next year, this of course if FOX orders a full season of 22-24 episodes. It’s not yet clear if this will be the last season for Brennan and Booth but it is buzzing in showbiz land that the tenth season will be the last. Mainly because Fox chief Kevin Reilly hinted in January: “This is the most likely scenario for ‘Bones’.”

‘Bones’ will take a short break after January 31th to be back on Monday, March 10th. It will take over the vacant spot of ‘Almost Human’. The science fiction drama will end on March 3th, which Fox has not picked up for a full season. There is nothing defined yet but it does not look good for ‘Almost Human’. Gordon Ramsay’s ‘Kitchen Nightmares' will take over on the Friday night.
