Bookie season two gets HBO Max start date and trailer

We get a first look at season two of Bookie, the HBO Max comedy series from Chuck Lorre and Nick Bakay.
The dark comedy series follows veteran Los Angeles bookmaker Danny (Sebastian Maniscalco) as the possible legalization of sports gambling in California threatens to disrupt his business forever. Together with his best friend and former NFL player Ray (Omar J. Dorsey), his sister Lorraine (Vanessa Ferlito) and reluctantly reformed drug dealer Hector (Jorge Garcia), Danny must cope with his increasingly unstable clients while trying to settle debts - while also making many risky bets himself.

Bookie was created, written and produced by Lorre and Bakay and is produced by Warner Bros. Television. It is produced by Maniscalco, Judi Marmel and Andy Tennant, who directed several episodes.
