Brave New World cancelled by Peacock

Brave New World cancelled by Peacock

Peacock has cancelled Brave New World (2020) after its first season. There may be a chance for the series to be sold to a different network or streaming service.
Last July, Brave New World (2020) premiered on Peacock. The series revolved around a utopic society, which has banned monogamy, privacy, money, family and history. The NBC Universal streaming service has now decided to cancel the series. The studio behind the series, UCP, has decided to try and sell the series to potentially interested parties.

David Wiener (Fear The Walking Dead) created the series, which is based on the book with the same name by Aldous Huxley. Harry Lloyd (Counterpart), Jessica Brown Findlay (Harlots) and Alden Ehrenreich (Supernatural) all portrayed lead characters in the series. Owen Harris (Black Mirror) directed the first two episodes. Supposedly, the series had rather high production costs and most viewers and critics weren't all that excited about the series.

There is a flaw in this sentence: Reportedly the series had high production costs and most viewers and critics were not very enthusiastic about the series.
