'Breaking Bad' spinoff 'Better Call Saul' on Netflix in 2014

'Better Call Saul', the long-expected 'Breaking Bad' spinoff, will be available exclusively to European and Latin-American subscribers of Netflix, shortly after the episodes will have been aired in the US. The news was published by Netflix Inc. and Sony Pictures Television earlier today.

The complete first season of "Saul" will be available in the United States and Canada to Netflix-subscribers after the season finale at AMC Networks. Consequently, Netflix will be the only on-demand streaming service allowed to broadcast 'Better Call Saul', following the recently finished series 'Breaking Bad'.

'Better Call Saul', starring Bon Odenkirk and co-created and produced by 'Breaking Bad' creator Vince Gilligan, tells the story about the super lawyer Saul Goodman, set at a mall, in the years before he became Walter White's lawyer. Ranging from parking tickets to mass murder, from silly mistakes to bond fraud; Saul takes care of everything.

"'Breaking Bad' is commonly seen as one of the best TV-experiences in this new golden age of television," says Ted Sarandos, Netflix Chief Content Officer. "The series is highly popular with Netflix-subscribers across the globe. The spin-off is determined to continue in the tradition of great storytelling. We are proud to co-operate with Sony Pictures Television in order to bring Saul Goodman to our subscribers all over the world."
