©Deadline - Liam Daniel/NetflixNo details have been provided, but all signs point to the new seasons focusing on Francesca (Hannah Dodd), whose love journey began in season three, and Eloise (Claudia Jessie), who has been a central character since season one, patiently waiting her turn.
In Bridgerton tradition, Lady Whistledown shared the news of the renewal in a special edition of her club brochure, which you can see below.
Additionally, Netflix has announced that the upcoming fourth season of Bridgerton, which will focus on Benedict (Luke Thompson), will debut in 2026. The timing follows the current cadence of the period drama releasing a new season every other year. The streamer has already all but confirmed the 2026 season by not including the title in its 2025 release schedule.
After previously sharing photos and behind-the-scenes footage from season four, Netflix has now shared a clip of the couple’s first meeting from season four. You can watch the clip below.
Reluctant to settle down like his brothers, Benedict’s perspective changes in the new eight-episode season when he meets the enchanting Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball.
Bridgerton launched in December 2020 and has since grown into one of Netflix’s biggest series and a commercial company with product and event lines. The previous three seasons and the prequel Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story all ranked among the most-watched English-language series of all time, with the first season and season three still at #5 and #7 respectively.
