Historical series Britannia canceled by MGM+ and Sky

Britannia will leave its army of fans with a cliffhanger after Sky decided not to renew the epic fantasy historical drama.

Britannia, produced by British companies Neal Street Productions and Vertigo Films, has been canceled despite building a loyal and engaged fan base.

The series starred The Walking Dead actor David Morrissey as General Aulus, a power-hungry military leader who leads the Roman invasion of Britannia. The first season was broadcast by Amazon Prime Video in the US, while EPIX streamed the second and third seasons.
