Premiere date for Peacock's comedy series Bupkis

Bupkis has a premiere date. The new comedy series, loosely based on the life of comedian Pete Davidson, will premiere in May. Peacock announced the premiere date of the eight-episode series with the release of the first pictures. Edie Falco and Joe Pesci also star in the series.

Peacock revealed more about the series in a press release:

ABOUT THE SERIES:

BUPKIS, a half-hour live action comedy, is an augmented, fictionalized version of Pete Davidson's real life. The series will combine grounded storytelling with absurd elements of the unfiltered and completely original worldview that Pete is known for.



REGULAR ACTORS OF THE SERIES:

Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live) wrote, produced and stars in the series. The series also stars Edie Falco (Nurse Jackie, The Sopranos) as Davidson's mother and Joe Pesci (Goodfellas, The Irishman) as Davidson's grandfather."
