but when I once added a series and it had a release it was also rejected because it was still "in production" on tmdb and it had no dates and was added. this is legit it was only announced yesterday that it would be on tv or something

in production would have been the problem in that case. Some series are in tmdb quickly, others take a bit longer and some series don't even get in tmbd.
