Chesapeake Shores premiered on the 14th of August in 2016. Last August, the fourth season was released. Hallmark Channel has now decided to renew the series with a fifth season. It is not yet known when this season is set to release, but it is expected to release sometime later this year.
In Chesapeake Shores, Abby O'Brien Winters (Meghan Ory, Once Upon a Time) returns to her hometown to visit her sister. But when Abby realises that her demanding career begins to take its toll, the divorced mother of two considers staying in Chesapeake Shores. The series is based on the books of Sheryl Woods.
