Netflix originally ordered one season with two parts of ten episodes each, called Netflix Part One and Part Two. Part Three will be available on January 24, consisting of eight new episodes. Part Four will follow later in 2020. Part Three is therefore in fact the start of the second season.
Like the popular Netflix series Riverdale, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is based on the Archie comic books and is about Sabrina Spellman, who lives as a half-witch and half-mortal. She tries to combine her magical gifts with life as an 'ordinary' girl.
The lead roles are portrayed by Kiernan Shipka (Sabrina Spellman), Ross Lynch (Harvey Kinkle) and Lucy Davis (Hila Spellman, one of Sabrina's two aunts). New faces are Jedidiah Goodacre and Alexis Denisof (known from Buffy the Vampire Slayer).
Sabrina has already defeated Lucifer, but Nicholas sacrificed himself, and must now burn in hell. And so in the new episodes, she asks her earthly friends from The Fright Club to help get him back. A trailer has now appeared and the third part will release at Netflix on the 24th of January.
