
Following the first season of Citadel, starring Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville, Citadel: Honey Bunny delves deeper into the story of stuntman Bunny (Dhawan), who turns struggling actress Honey (Akkineni) into hires for a part-time job. Together they end up in a world full of action, espionage and betrayal.
The new action-packed trailer follows the estranged elite spies as they are reunited years later to protect their young daughter Nadia, when their dangerous past catches up with them.
The Indian series is directed by Raj & DK (Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK) and written by Sita R. Menon, along with Raj & DK. The series is produced by D2R Films, Amazon MGM Studios, and executive produced by the Russo Brothers' AGBO. AGBO's Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Angela Russo-Otstot and Scott Nemes, along with David Weil, are producing with Midnight Radio.
Besides Dhawan and Samantha, Kay Kay Menon also stars, along with an ensemble of Saqib Saleem, Simran, Sikandar Kher, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Parihar and Kashvi Majmundar.
The first season of Citadel became Prime Video's second most-watched new original series outside the US in 2023 and fourth most-watched worldwide, after 24 days. Citadel and subsequent original action-spy series produced by the Russo Brothers' AGBO continue the story of spy agency Citadel and the powerful enemy syndicate Manticore.
The Italian Original, Citadel: Diana, is the second series set in the world of Citadel and will be followed by the Indian series Citadel: Honey Bunny. Season two of Citadel, starring Madden and Chopra Jonas alongside Tucci and Manville, is in production. Joe Russo is the director.
Citadel: Honey Bunny premieres Thursday, November 7 exclusively on Prime Video in India and in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The trailer doesn't do much for me and it doesn't really show that it's really about the Citadel universe, but maybe they don't want to give too much away.
I'll wait and see!
