The second season of City on a Hill revolves around a federal housing project in Boston, Roxbury, which is plagued by drugs violence and distrust in the local law enforcement. On the 28th of March, this season will premiere ate Showtime. Eight episodes will be released.
Back in June 2019, the series premiered at the network. The crime series was created by Chuck MacLean. Fontana (Homicide: Life On The Street) serves as showrunner. Pernell Walker (The Deuce), Lucia Ryan (The Last O.G.), Kameron Kierce (City on a Hill), Shannon Wallace (American Soul), John Doman (For Life) and Michael O'Keefe (City on a Hill) have been given a guest role in the second season. Kevin Bacon (The Following) and Aldis Hodge (Underground) will portray the lead characters.
