Australian comedy series Colin from Accounts now available on Streamz

The Australian comedy series Colin from Accounts is available to watch on Streamz starting today with two seasons. The series has also been renewed for a third season.
Colin from Accounts follows Gordon (Patrick Brammall) and Ashley (Harriet Dyer), two thirty-somethings living in Sydney. They are brought together by a car accident that injures a stray dog. They decide to care for the dog, whom they name Colin, together and end up in unexpected but funny situations.

Colin from Accounts

The Australian series Colin from Accounts follows the story of Gordon, a microbrewery owner, and Ashley, a medical student. The series begins when Ashley flashes her nipple at Gordon, causing him to accidentally hit a dog. When it turns out that the dog will no longer be able to walk, they take him in together out of guilt. The strange but funny start of the series immediately sets the tone for the rest of the episodes.

The lead roles, played by Patrick Brammall (Glitch) and Harriet Dyer (The InBetween), are not only a couple in the series, but are also a couple in real life. They produced and wrote the series together, creating a believable and genuine chemistry on screen. They were dubbed Australia’s funniest couple by Australian Marie Claire.

The cast is further rounded out by Emma Harvie as Megan, Helen Thomson as Lynelle, Genevieve Hegney as Chiara, Michael Logo as Brett and Tai Hara as James. The adorable Colin from Accounts is played by two dogs, Zac and Buster, although they also have a towel as a stand-in. The fluffy character was named after a dog that Brammall and Dyer adopted together.

The complete first two seasons of this funny romcom can be seen on Streamz from today.
