Mr Pritchard calls to tell the Ogdens that they've won third prize in a "Loving Cup Shandies" competition - a second honeymoon night in a five-star hotel with £25 spending money. Deirdre worries about being left on her own in the house. Hilda reveals her winning slogan: "Be a mistress as well as a wife and your husband'll still be your boyfriend". Stan doesn't want to go and suggests she goes on her own. She tells him that he's going - even if she has to chain him to her.
