Countdown Starring Jensen Ackles Gets Premiere Date, First Look Photos

Prime Video has a premiere date for Countdown, the new action series from Derek Haas, starring Jensen Ackles.

Countdown is created by Derek Haas (executive producer of the One Chicago and FBI franchises). It also stars Eric Dane and Jessica Camacho. The premiere for Countdown is set for early summer. Prime Video has also released some of the first photos from the series, which you can check out below and at the bottom.

When a Department of Homeland Security agent is murdered in broad daylight, LAPD Detective Mark Meachum (Jensen Ackles) is recruited into a covert task force, along with undercover agents from every branch of law enforcement, to investigate. But the hunt for the killer soon uncovers a plot far more sinister than anyone could have imagined, and a race against time to save a city of millions.

In addition to Ackles, Dane, and Camacho, the series also stars Violett Beane, Elliot Knight, and Uli Latukefu.

The series premieres on Wednesday, June 25 with three episodes. New episodes will be released weekly until the season finale on Wednesday, September 3.
