Cross attracts a large global audience according to Prime Video

Prime Video's Cross has attracted a large global audience in the four weeks since its premiere, the streamer said.
The crime drama, starring Aldis Hodge and based on the bestsellers by James Patterson, has attracted 40 million viewers worldwide in its first 20 days, according to Prime Video's internal figures. All eight episodes of the series' first season (it has already been renewed for a second season) premiered November 14.

Cross

With 40 million global viewers, Cross is the No. 3 premiere for a Prime Video series this year over a 20-day period. Only Fallout - which, according to the Amazon streamer, had 65 million viewers in 16 days - and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, whose second season (at least three episodes) attracted 40 million viewers in its first 11 days. Amazon also says the launch puts Cross in the top six of all Prime Video series in its first 20 days.

The majority of the series' viewers (about 55 percent) came from outside the United States; Amazon says Cross performed “extremely well” in Germany, Britain, Brazil, Canada and Spain.

In addition to Hodge, Cross stars Isaiah Mustafa, Juanita Jennings, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, Caleb Elijah, Melody Hurd, Jennifer Wigmore, Eloise Mumford and Ryan Eggold.

Ben Watkins is the creator and showrunner of the series, which comes from Amazon MGM Studios, Paramount Television Studios (CBS Studios for future seasons) and Skydance Television.

I liked the story, the antagonist was also very good, but Cross himself was a lot less.

Good series, good story..it's good like this. No need for a new season, I think it will be milked dry again.
