Crossbones stops after one season with the piracy

Not only have the last two episodes been moved but NBC has also decided not to renew ‘Crossbones’ for a second season.

The last episodes of ‘Crossbones’ would have aired on the first and eighth of August but NBC announced to move those episodes to the second of August. Moreover, NBC has cancelled the series later in the day, after ten episodes there will be an end to the piracy of John Malkovich and associates.

‘Crossbones’ told the story of Edward Teach, better known as Blackbeard the Pirate. Blackbeard was played by Malkovich. Other cast members were; Yasmine Al Maath, Richard Coyle, Claire Foy, Chris and David Hoflin, Tracy Ifeachor and Chris Perfetti.

The question remains whether the first season will be completed satisfactory or that it will end with a cliffhanger. But what the ending will be, the pirates have had devastatingly poor ratings and that is what ended their piracy.
