Cruel Summer soon to be on Amazon Prime Video

Cruel Summer - featuring Olivia Holt (Marvel's Cloak & Dagger) and Chiara Aurelia (Tell Me Your Secrets) - will be made available on Amazon Prime Video in early August. The series comes from Jessica Biel and Michelle Purple (The Sinner). On the 20th of April, it premiered on Freeform. Soon, the series will also be made available on Amazon Prime Video. On the 6th of August, the ten-part series will release on the streaming service.

Cruel Summer takes place during three summers in the 90s. When a beautiful and popular teenager ends up missing, an apparent quiet girl turns from a sweet and clumsy outsider into the most popular girl in town. You can watch the trailer down below.



The cast consists of Olivia Holt (Marvel's Cloak & Dagger), Chiara Aurelia (Tell Me Your Secrets), Michael Landes (Silent Witness) and Froy Gutierrez (Light As A Feather), amongst others. Tia Napolitano (Grey's Anatomy) serves as the showrunner for the drama series.
