CSI: Vegas casts Reggie Lee (All Rise) for its third season

Following his appearance in the series finale of All Rise, Reggie Lee has been hired by CBS' CSI: Vegas.

Sources have learned that Lee - whose many television roles also include Grimm, Prison Break (season two) and The Lincoln Lawyer - will guest star in multiple episodes of season three on CSI: Vegas as Zhao, the new undersheriff of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Dept.

Lee's (photo) new role will reunite him with fellow All Rise colleague Marg Helgenberger, who has been reprising her franchise role of Catherine Willows since season two of CSI: Vegas.

CSI: Vegas returns with season three on February 18, 2024 (where it will have a new time slot on Sundays) and follows Maxine Roby (played by Paula Newsome) and her team of crime scene investigators - Catherine Willows, Allie Rajan (Mandeep Dhillon), Detective Serena Chavez (Ariana Guerra), Chris Park (Jay Lee) and Beau Finado (Lex Medlin) – as they use science to solve mind-boggling mysteries.

Chief among these mysteries, early in season three, is: Who framed team member Joshua Folsom (Matt Lauria) for a gruesome murder in the season two finale?

In the first season of CSI: Vegas, as this latest CSI offshoot took hold, franchise veterans William Petersen and Jorja Fox reprised their roles as Gil Grissom and Sara Sidle. Season two saw Helgenberger return as Catherine, while fellow CSI veteran Eric Szmanda also returned for a brief role as forensic investigator Greg Sanders.
