Ella Leyers makes an appearance in the second season of Dag & Nacht

Filming is currently underway for the second season of the VRT series Dag & Nacht. The second season of Day & Night follows the passionate team of the pediatrics department in the familiar hospital from the first season. Once again, the employees are ready day and night to provide the best care to the young patients with the most diverse illnesses and conditions. Together with them, we experience the impact that both short-term and long-term hospital visits can have on the patients, their environment and the healthcare staff.

A newcomer this season is Amanda (Ella Leyers, photo), a funny, free-spirited and creative nurse. She brings a positive energy to her work, gets along well with young people and gets along with all colleagues. But there is something hidden behind the cheerful facade: what happened in Amanda's past that she finds difficult to share with her colleagues?

Leyers previously played in the Streamz series My Worst Best Friend, the VTM series 13 Geboden and the international series Hidden Assets, a collaboration between Streamz, BBC Four and RTE.

The second season of Dag & Nacht will be shown in its entirety on Streamz this summer, as will the first season. The series will be released on VRT 1 and VRT MAX in 2026. For Dutch viewers, season two of Dag & Nacht will be shown on AVROTROS and NPO Start from May.
