With this confirmation, it is clear that Disney and Marvel have a lot of confidence in the series. The first season faced delays due to the strikes in Hollywood, but since the restart, the project has grown into one of the key pillars in the Marvel television offering.
Season two also promises major developments, including the return of several familiar characters and a new confrontation between Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).
The first season of Daredevil: Born Again also featured roles for Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Wilson Bethel, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki M. James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, and Michael Gandolfini, with Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher.
