Streamz unveils trailer for 1980s series De Big Fuck-up

The new Streamz Original De Big Fuck-up is a comedic crime drama set in Belgium in the early '80s.
The story of De Big Fuck-up revolves around Jan Laureys, played by Willem De Schryver, who, like his father, ends up in the national police, although it's not his own choice.

De Big Fuck-up

Jan dreams of adventure and style but gives in to the will of his father, an officer in the national police. His interest, however, is piqued by the CDI, a new unit aiming to tackle drug criminals with American methods. There, Jan meets DEA agent Bob, who is training the Belgian team.

When a major blunder results in the CDI losing a lot of money from the national police, they decide, on Bob's advice, to make up for the loss by selling drugs themselves. What initially seems like a clever solution quickly spirals out of control—especially for Jan. The series presents itself as a true story, or at least "as true as possible."

In addition to De Schryver, the cast includes an impressive mix of well-known names such as Koen De Bouw, Dempsey Bovell, Tibo Vandenborre, Koen De Graeve, Tom Vermeir, Eric Godon, Tom Van Dyck, Natali Broods, Oussama Ahammoud, and Holly Mae Brood. Younger talents like Rob van der Auwera, Lien Joosten, and Jason Van Laere also make appearances.

The series is written by Bas Adriaensen and Philippe De Schepper, known for productions like Eigen Kweek, Arcadia, and Black-out. It is directed by Wim Geudens (Studio Tarara).

The first two episodes will be available from Thursday, October 30, on Streamz, with a new episode following every Thursday.
