Very endearing series. Interaction is just like the office, so it is not innovative. But funny. Laughed three times at a joke in four episodes, enjoy the lines. Not high-quality or new, but easy to look away. 25 min per episode, so headline it. Have to say all types are fun, and Derek is actually the least. The linchpin, but Dougie is much nicer. Nice to head out in a few evenings.
After seeing Derek and After Life, Ricky Gervais has a fan for life. The humor and rudeness, but also the sensitivity of this brilliant television maker are simply excellent! Derek is about something. About how we deal with our elderly, with those who can no longer care for themselves. Just like After Life is actually about how we deal with death. You know what I'm looking forward to? With what would happen if Ricky Gervais were to deal with Love (with a capital L). What would that mean, haha!
