Dertigers (NL) Returns with a Sixth Season

The popular drama series Dertigers (NL) will return in the summer of 2025 with a sixth series.Dertigers (NL), based on the Flemish series of the same name, has been shown every summer on BNNVARA since 2020. The series revolves around a group of friends in their thirties who face challenges and dilemmas in the areas of relationships, work and family.



Last year, it became clear that the cast of the first four seasons would say goodbye to Dertigers (NL), and that new actors and new stories would be central from 2024. Claire Bender, Teunie de Brouwer and Sia Cyrroes are part of the group of friends that is central in the current fifth season. It is not yet clear whether the current cast will also be seen in the sixth season.

The first four seasons featured leading roles for Eva Laurenssen, Wieger Windhorst and Joy Wielkens, among others. Lykele Muus and Leonoor Koster, who were both also seen in the first seasons, are now involved in Dertigers (NL) as writers and directors. It is not yet clear whether they will also be working on the new season.

Dertigers (NL) attracts around 300,000 viewers on television every day. The production is particularly successful online: the first four seasons were streamed millions of times via NPO Start. Figures for the fifth season have not yet been published.

The last episode of the current season was shown on NPO3 last Thursday.
