He sends a documentary film crew around the globe to connect with resident eyewitnesses and paranormal practitioners, exploring the region’s local legends, historic mysteries, diverse cultural beliefs, and real-life tragedies, while attempting to substantiate claims of hauntings, possessions and curses.

Zak Bagans has a fear of flying. That's why he doesn't go to foreign locations himself. But the way it's set up now is really not okay. The only thing he does is the voice-over. With that he tries to make things exciting. In vain, because the stories in the first two episodes are not exciting or scary at all. You can't make something scary with just sound effects and locals telling scary stories.
Unfortunately, I am rather disappointed and will therefore stop following.
