Dexter sequel to release in November

During the Comic-Con@Home panel, Showtime released the premiere date for the Dexter sequel, Dexter: New Blood. The series will start its run in November.

Dexter fans had to wait for quite some time, but Dexter: New Blood has finally become reality. Showtime has revealed a premiere date. On the 7th of November, the first episode of the ten-part sequel will air. Down below, you can watch a sneak peek.

During the panel, the creators have said that it's important to see these episodes as something now instead of a ninth season. The Dexter sequel takes place in a completely different area and ten years later. All those years, Dexter has survived under the name Jim Lindsay. It is a tribute to Jeff Lindsay, author of the book that lightly inspired the series.
