Uma Thurman is a series regular opposite Michael C. Hall in Paramount+'s Dexter: Resurrection. Uma Thurman (pictured), the Golden Globe-winning and Oscar- and Emmy-nominated actress for her work in Hysterical Blindness, Pulp Fiction and Smash, is one of the biggest names in the Dexter universe.
Production on Dexter: Resurrection, a modern-day sequel to Dexter: New Blood, began in New York this month following the strong launch of prequel series Dexter: Original Sin, which became Showtime’s most-streamed premiere in history with more than 2.1 million global viewers across multi-platforms, as well as its most social premiere with 657,000 interactions.
In Dexter: Resurrection , Thurman plays Charley, the head of security for the mysterious billionaire Leon Prater. A former Special Ops officer, Charley has held several high-level private security positions before assuming her position as Prater’s resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman.
In addition to Hall, who returns in the title role of Dexter Morgan, Thurman joins series regulars David Zayas, James Remar and Jack Alcott who reprise their roles in the Dexter franchise as Detective Angel Batista, Dexter’s father Harry Morgan and Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan, respectively.
